Education definitely brings the change in each individual, I could see through my experience. It never works in isolation, there are socio-economical cultures which affects it, Being part of society I found there are so many struggles a child faces in the school due to varied pedagogies. I was reflecting since I have passed my schooling till now complexities have increased, one day I was standing in my balcony then I saw a small boy, not more than 9-10 years old, passing through the lane with huge bag on his small shoulders, trying to balance the bag, bottle and a piece of chart, all with a straight face. Without feeling or thinking about the pain caused by the burden of carrying that heavy bag.
Seeing that small boy with his bag and books losing his innocence so soon, incensed me so much that for one moment I felt like taking that bag from him, and promising him a tomorrow where he can actually live and enjoy his life. Why is it this way? what to do to make burden less life for children? were my wonder questions. These questions made me restless….

During IAAT I got the answers of some of my questions I was having at that time. I was glad to know there are people in this field who are actually working in such manner so that we can free the child at the most crucial years of growth to nurture and bloom. I have studied many theories of educational philosophy.

According to Sri Aurobindo, the first principle of true teaching is “that nothing can be taught.” He explains that the knowledge is already dormant within the child and for this reason the teacher is not an instructor or task-master; “he/she is a helper and a guide.” The role of the teacher “is to suggest and not to impose”. A Teacher does not actually train the pupil’s mind, but only shows him/her how to perfect the instruments of knowledge and helps him and encourages in the process. He does not impart knowledge to him; he shows him how to acquire knowledge for himself. He does not call forth the knowledge that is within; he only shows him where it lies and how it can be habituated to rise to the surface. According to him, physical development and holiness are the chief aims of education, which is similar to mother’s philosophy- Education to be complete must have five principal aspects corresponding to the five principal activities of the human being; the physical, the vital, the mental, the psychic and the spiritual.
J.Krishanmurti believes that an educator should be fully devoted if he/she has decided to teach children, an educator should not only teach subject, but to help the student to examine and understand the values and influences that surround him and of which he is a part. Because he is devoted solely to the freedom and integration of the individual, the right kind of educator is deeply and truly religious.

Through different Educational philosophers my philosophy of Education has formed too
and my prospective has been changed completely. Education teaches us how to act in the world in differnt situactions, so as per me airm of education it to provide Knowledge, skills and attitude in a child. Teachers play the role of facilitator guiding the learning in each child, tracking his individual progress, actually should know the ZPD(zone of proximal development) and and helping him through scaffolding to lead in his journey. Teacher has to demonstrate the values to be inculcated in the children. I see the ultimate goal for a teacher is to inculcate self-learning aptitudes in children and nurture the individuality of every child. Education for all is a step towards an inclusive society where each of us has a chance to share in life.
